A girl's father (Jeffrey Dean Morgan of WATCHMEN) buys her a weird wooden box at a garage sale which begins influencing her behavior. At first he dismisses anything is going on but it soon escalates to a point where he seeks professional help from some Jewish mystics. Of course, the girl looks like Megan from the EXORCIST and it's a little goofy when we see the creature that is possessing her, a Dybuk, which looks like Gollum from LORD OF THE RINGS. But this is a surprisingly effective demon possession movie. Recommended.
