This is yet another Syfy creature movie of the week, this time with the white monsters.
However, the "Yetis" seem to change in size from scene to scene and resemble weirdly fanged polar bears more than anything else.
A group of treasure hunters are after an old ship carrying gold from China. They find it buried in the ice on a secluded arctic island. But they soon discover that the ship was also carrying a mythical creature--and that creature, stuck on the island, has bred, so that there are a LOT of them. They're picked off one by one.
This was okay but the computer animation of the creatures is simply terrible. And actress Yancy Butler, who was never a great actress to begin with, keeps on getting more masculine looking with each new Syfy movie she stars in. RAGE OF THE YETI is on the low end of the spectrum in the "Bigfoot genre".
