Yasuharu Hasebe's influence on the pinku genre was definatly imperative in the cultivation of the mean-spirited "violent pink" film, which would offer up a much 'rougher' edge to the Nikkatsu style eroticism. "Rape! 13th Hour" is another fine Hasebe sleaze-apalooza and a satifying spectacle of harsh serial-rape and fairly fucked up violence...
A demure gas station attendant becomes involved with a super-fly scofflaw who seems to be suspiciously eluding a group of homo thugs who seem desperate to catch him. While on the run, the attendant and the runner break into a ballerina's apartment and take turns raping her. After they've broken her will as a possibly strong-willed woman and fled, the two men part ways - leaving the attendant with a new-found thrill-of-the-rape, as I like to call it. At one point, he pulls his truck off the road and wanders through a wooded area that appears to be a popular hangout for young lovers. He ends up chasing a chick down and giving her a little of the ol' in-n-out business... As expected, he meets up with his shady 'partner in rape' and the two go to town on a couple of young girl friends. Of course, the strange gang of queens aren't far behind and once they catch up to their guy, they haul him in to their leather clad "boss" who wants to have gay sex with him... I'll just leave it at that...
The climax is quite a severe marathon of brutality and man-on-man ass raping which does not disappoint. If you liked Hasebe's other Roman porno classics like "Attack!!", "Raping!", or the almighty "Assault! Jack the Ripper", "Rape! 13th Hour" won't disappoint pinku lovers.
