An emotionally impaired loner, Kenneth (Andrew Lee Potts of PRIMEVAL series) has a crush on a female medical student named Catherine (Arielle Kebbel of THE UNINVITED). While Catherine is nice to him her student friends think he is a freak and taunt him. In fact, they get him drunk one night and ends up going into a coma after they also give him some recreational drugs. They promise to keep all this to themselves or else they'd get expelled from medical school.
However, in the hospital a doctor gives Kenneth an experimental drug to help get him out of the coma. What this does is enable him to travel out of his body--and get revenge on those who did this to him.
RED MIST is a decent horror film, along the lines of CARRIE. It's basically a 21st Century version of PATRICK.
