At the beginning of the movie we see a wide shot of a canyon lake or river-and a ten year old boy walks out of it, onto a bus and into a nearby city where he goes to a church run by a "fire & brimstone" type preacher. He's talking about how the Redeemer will punish those who have sinned, et cetera.
Then we go to the ten-year high school reunion of the class of '67, though only seven of them have shown up. They think it's a little weird but continue to party and eat the food. When they come across a dead body and realize something very weird is going on they find themselves locked in the old high school, which now has bars on all the doors and windows. One guy is burned to death, a woman shot and another strangled/drowned by the killer, who is then in a clown outfit. It turns out that this guy is indeed the preacher and that his victims (who are probably his former classmates) represent the "Seven Deadly Sins".
The movie goes back to the church scenario, where we see the preacher talk to the boy.
Oh, the preacher also has six fingers, one of which fades away and reappears on that boy, who is presumably Satan or the Angel of Death or something.
As this came out before the "Slasher" movie craze of the 80's-and is very much like those movies-it's worth checking out, just for its weirdness. The movie is also known as The Redeemer: Son of Satan!, Class Reunion Massacre
