I liked this sequel about 25% as I enjoyed the first movie. The biggest problem I had with it is that it simply felt flat and was WAY too cartoonish with all those hokey supporting characters (particularly the female special operative). This entire city, taken over by zombies spawned from a new virus, is sealed off from the rest of the world by the Umbrella Corporation. Do we care? No.So then the viewer has to endure the final hour of the movie (and it's only 90 minutes total), during which time there's this other experiment called 'Nemesis', which starts using all the trapped special operatives as target practice. This creature looks like what would happen if the Hulk was turned into a Cenobite (not as cool as it sounds).It seems like there are not one but several endings...just when you think it's time to finally hit that restroom another scene started. I cannot wait for the next RESIDENT EVIL movie. Yeah.
