This low-budget horror movie begins with clips/scenes of a man meeting a woman on a beach whose name is Lovely. Then, what I'm guessing is years later, he gets a frantic phone call from her and goes to help. When he shows up at the cheap motel she's a blubbering idiot but with some coercing she lets him in. And he sees the stabbed body of a man (Derek Phillips of FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS tv series). They quickly discover they've murdered the wrong man, as he's part of a cult that puts on skull masks and terrorize and kill people. This is a very unpleasant movie, done far better with THE STRANGERS. I didn't care about the two main characters whatsoever, so I don't care much about this movie, either.
