This one was all it claims to be... a nightmare for sure. It's also known as The Edge of Hell. I've seen a few of the horror films that feature rock and metal overtones and it's safe to say this is the worst of 'em. That is a real shame to cause it does have a lot of nudity. Due to the fact that it was made in Canada, I had decent expectations from this one. It didn't cut the mustard or the cheese though. A group of rockers rent an old farm to get away and practice for their new album. Unfortunately, they've chosen a house where ten years previously a group of demons offed a family of three. The band and its women are soon being picked off and possessed by the silliest looking bunch of shit since Sigmund and the Sea Monsters. Honestly, that was insulting to Sigmund, sorry. You'll see some really bad FX here, mostly some latex masks and hands reach out and grab our heroes. Now up until the end, I wasn't too mad. It was cheesy enough to be funny, but the end ruins it all as we find out everything was just made up by the main man to trick the devil out into the open for a fight. Huh? That's right, there never was a band and the lead singer is an arc angel out to beat the devil. Lucifer is a piss poor looking site to ladies and gentlemen. I guess joints would have been too much to ask as old scratch seems unable to move or defend himself. This film would have been bearable minus that dumbass ending. Ya'll have been warned.
