TNT put together a remake of the original made for TV classic that is based on the Stephen King book. A writer returns to the town where he grew up and experienced a life changing moment. He is there to research his new book about evil in small towns. After his arrival, the small town of Jerusalem's Lot is beginning to lose some of its residents... so it looks like the town is going to give him much to write about. The small towners become a little uncomfortable by his presence as well as the presence of 2 more outsiders who have purchased a legendary house in the town. As more and more people start to disappear, the town members grow suspicious of the newcomers.... but it is the residents of the old house on the hill they should watch. I thought this was pretty well done. I liked the original version better, but I can say that about just about everything. If you didn't see this when it aired on television, then you may want to see if you can find a copy somewhere to rent or buy. Surprisingly good flick, although a little slow.
