A group of Forest Rangers, some still-in-training, take a group of scientists (a anthropologist and a paleantologist and their assistants) into the deep NorthWest wilderness. When they ask what they are looking for they explain that someone found a strange bone that seems to belong to some kind of ape. Another bone, almost identical, was found 75 years before. So the museum they work for decided it was enough evidence to send in an expedition to the site and try to uncover more bones or fossils. What they eventually find is the burial ground of these creatures-and after they did up the massive bones the creature (or creatures) stalks them, not wanting them to leave with that knowledge. It's as good as the Lance Henriksen movie SASQUATCH. The creatures are more ape-like. And I found it kind of odd that the word 'Sasquatch' never came up in this movie. The characters do mention 'Wendigo' and say 'Bigfoot', though. I guess a title like 'In the footsteps of Bigfoot' or something like that wouldn't go over too well and SASQUATCH HUNTERS has a more action-packed ring to it.
