The DVD box artwork says SASQUATCH MOUNTAIN, when this movie is really titled DEVIL ON THE MOUNTAIN (it's a much better title). Lance Henriksen (is this is 4th appearance in a bigfoot movie?) is an old guy who loses his wife in an automobile accident but not before she tapes some footage of bigfoot crossing the road.
Years later a group of bank robbers foul up their robbery and crash into another car on their escape. They have to make it on foot and drag along the other driver (Cerina Vincent of CABIN FEVER). They eventually take refuge in a cabin deep in the woods - and it appears as if the previous owner had died some weeks before of a heart attack. But something else was also living nearby, something big and hairy - and it doesn't like them being there.
This is one of the better bigfoot movies in recent years, with a cast of good actors, a good story and a "twist" I haven't seen in a bigfoot movie before. Recommended.
