It's been ten years since the events of the last movie. Sidney Prescott returns to her hometown for a book signing--and is visited by Ghostface, who begins the killing yet again. Dewey Riley (David Arquette) is the sheriff and is still married to Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox)--and they both, separately, try to figure out the killer's identity.
A whole new crop of teenagers are stalked and killed--and it's all pretty much routine, though better done than the first two sequels.
I was surprised at who the killer turned out to be--I should have figured it out but the script did a good job of distracting you from guessing. Hopefully this finishes off the SCREAM franchise as there's not a lot else they can do with it at this point. Maybe Ghostface in Space?
