This new E.I Cinema produced shot-on-video movie is one of their better movies ...but it's also the worst Brett Piper movie I've ever seen.An artsty-fartsy photographer, who always seems pissed off, takes several young girls to an old abandoned house so he can photograph them in various compromising positions. But in order to rent the supposedly haunted abode, he has to put up with a security guy who is assigned to make sure nothing happens to them. He's not thrilled with the idea. He soon becomes interested in one of the women and the photographer is dead set against it.The original owner of the house appears in the form of a zombie/ghost and speaks in a reverberating voice. He kills the photographer and captures the girls, with the intention of torturing them on his many torture devices. Of course, the security guy figures out how to get rid of the ghost and saves all the girls. The charm of a lot of Piper's movies are the special effects, usually stop-motion-animation, as in ARACHNIA and PSYCHLOPS. But what's lacking is a sense of humor and fun I normally associate with is productions. Also, the box art has absolutely nothing to do with the movie-you never see that actress or that monster.
