This Amazon Prime Pilot features Glenn Close as Bernie, elderly woman who lives in a seedy part of town with her freeloading adult nieces and nephew, Cole. He's the best of the batch because he seems to actually give a shit. Benie works at the local Dollar Store and is crushed when she gets demoted to working in the stockroom. We get the impression that she's just sort of put up with disappointments and inconveniences her entire life. That is, until she dies and comes back with a completely different personality. Now, she wants to do the things she never did in live and wants her relatives to start doing things for her. The half-hour show has the the feel of PET SEMATARY and DEAD ALIVE I found it very disturbing-and effective.
