Don Mancini, who has written or co-written every CHILD'S PLAY movie, finally gets a chance to direct the latest installment of the killer doll franchise. This is probably the most entertaining 'Chucky' movie, really diving into the genre and having some fun with it. The spawn of Chucky and Tiffany takes the name Glen, though he sometimes thinks of himself as Glenda (of course, an homage to the Ed Wood movie-and even to PSYCHO). His confusion arises from the fact that he's not anatomically correct-he's not anything. He also has mixed feelings about his parents killing people. Jennifer Tilly, in addition to doing the voice of Tiffany, portrays herself, which takes some balls. There's plenty of gore, mayhem and laughs in this very tongue-in-cheek sequel
