This is a variation of the THE STRANGE CASE OF DR. JECKYLL AND MR. HYDE, this time with a scientist experimenting on human subjects. He believes that
humans have the ability to heal themselves from serious afflictions and that this serum he's developed will unlock that ability (but if people have this ability, why would they need this serum?????)
When his funding is jeopardized because he's using mentally unbalanced humans, who have a negative reaction to his concoction, he takes a gamble and experiments on his nephew, a pre-med student who was hit by a car. However, the serum transforms him into a raging beast-man as well, with a taste for brains.
With the exception of Derek Phillips as the student/Hyde, all the other actors simply suck--and the makeup effects of the creatures are pitiful. Pitiful!
