I kinda liked this overgrown insect film for some reason. The idea of giant mosquitos is scary (though after the flood waters went down around here it becomes more of a reality than a film fantasy). Of course you know that someone has dumped some chemical shit where they shouldn't have and years later the bugs start to grow up in a major way. You have all your normal stereotypes along for the ride as well. The greedy land developer, the sorryass sheriff, the do-gooders who are the only ones that seem to care other than the bugs. Not much new, but it is fun to watch big cheesy looking mosquitos latch on to everybody's ass that doesn't have sense enough to just leave town. The very hot rancher's daughter takes it off too, and since I like redheads this gave the movie an added boost for me. Some of the effects were o.k. too. Not nearly as classic as other killer bug films, but a decent effort overall. You could do worse, I think.
