Low budget but effective video slasher movie starring the beautiful and alluring Nicola Fiore as a young woman named Farrah with some severe emotional problems. She was left at the altar by her prospective groom and this has only helped to make her already unbalanced mind worse. Forced to live with her overbearing, slutty, MILF mom (played expertly by Leesa Rowland, and wow, what an awesome rack she constantly has spilling out of her costumes!), things get inherently worse for Farrah when mom decides to get remarried to her deceased father's best friend! She wants to go all Lizzy Borden on her entire family, but can't do it alone, so she makes contact with an incarcerated serial killer (creepily played by Tim Dax) by chopping off her finger and mailing it to him in prison! This definitely gets his attention. Farrah eventually bonds with the killer and goes to visit him in prison, sexing him up while getting tips on how best to murder people and get away with it! (Shades of the SOV masterpiece BLOODLETTING here!) When mom's wedding day hits, Farrah goes ballistic and decides to act upon her homicidal impulses with the tattooed, Horace Pinker-ish serial killer guiding her in her twisted mind… Obviously influenced by classic movies like THE STEPFATHER, SHOCKER, and DEAR MR. GACY, this is still a tight, entertaining, and original feeling movie. I was thoroughly entranced by the characters and Fiore does an outstanding job playing the tortured character of Farrah; she brings so much to the part by delivering a deliciously wicked performance, internalizing so many emotions that she lets loose with her splendid expressions. Fiore is definitely the glue that holds this movie together. Loved the bloody climax on mom's wedding day, and this movie has tight direction, a good story, an outstanding musical score and plenty of skin galore from Ms. Fiore, which is always a good thing! She's one sexy lady, a true scream queen with serious acting abilities, a rare combination today. Highly recommended for slasher fans who like a dose of modernized Psycho-ness with their Cheerios!
