A covert military operation (aka PREDATOR) in South America encounters a village taken over by what appears to be vampires. They think they destroy them but half a year later it's reported to him by Colonel Jessica Weaver (Linda Carter) that there has been more activity. By coincidence, this is happening near where Hawk's ex-wife, Dr. Laurie Williams (Jennifer O'dell), is doing a study.
As you can guess, Hawk goes there to protect her (he still has feelings for the ex) and discovers another infestation of vampires-and the leader of them is fairly obvious. And, of course, the leader of the vampires can change his shape into this awkward looking bat monster that morphs back and forth.
The only thing slightly different about this is that the vampires can go out during the daylight, otherwise SLAYER is long in a line of run-of-the-mill vampire movies.
