A rural town becomes prey to a strain of large mutant carnivorous slugs spawned from toxic waste dumping and it's up to the local health inspector to stop them. First, two teenagers swimming in a pond are consumed, followed by an old drunk. There are slugs coming out of drains, up toilets and crawling the walls. The story is rather typical for your 'nature gone wild' scenario but the effects are quite good, particularly the exploding worm scenes.
