This is like most of the sequels based on Stephen King's short stories-not so great. Here, a father (Michael Gross of FAMILY TIES, TREMORS) returns to his childhood home after his mother dies in an accident. He brings along his daughter, Michelle (Hillary Swank), to help him close up the place. But he is soon haunted by some very real ghosts from his past-a gang of three hoodlums, led by Alexis Arquette. Thirty-years ago his sister was killed by the guys-and Gross interrupted a Satanic ritual they were performing. It seemed as thought they were killed-but only cast to hell so they could return later on. They are terrorized a bit, Michelle is taken hostage, and he has to replay the story over again to rescue her before they kill her as they did his sibling. The first half of the movie is good, as are the disturbing special effects of them as demons, but it soon turns way too campy and the ending is too predictable.
