This is sort of a cult fave item for me personally, and one of my favorite bad rubber suit monster movies. Well, really it's actually a good, bloody movie in which the creature gets way more screen time than in most. It has that great old stand by plot of radiation mutating sea life with deadly results. Slithis kills 'em all, ladies, drunks, wanna be swinger guys. It just doesn't matter. Scientists are powerless, however you will believe that Dr. John's station wagon can fly. Out hero is a multitude of 70's clichés rolled into one. Looks like a poorer version of Tom Jones. I guess really I am trying to crusade for greater Slithis awareness and appreciation. I hope you can find a copy to watch and enjoy. Then, you to will be a Slithis fanatic, championing the cause for a higher Slithis consciousness. Don't fear the Slithis, a good boat anchor will do wonders. Or will it?
