This sequel is a good movie, though not as engaging as the first film. I think the problem is that all of Peter Parker's conflicts in this story are the same that were in the first film, which are keeping his secret identity, sorting out his feelings for Mary Jane Watson, and hiding the truth from his friend Harry Osborne. It made me feel like I'd seen this all before. The best thing about #2 is that it has a better villain than the Green Goblin. Alfred Molina as Dr.Octopus is perfect and I liked how they explained how he becomes evil so quickly. We're also introduced to Dr. Connor (aka THE LIZARD) and J. Jonah Jameson's astronaut son (THE MAN-WOLF), which was interesting, though they remained peripheral characters for the most part. The movie is open-ended for the third installment, which will undoubtedly feature the return of The Green Goblin.Definitely check it out-but don't expect to be 'wowed' too much.
