In this movie, which has nothing to do with the first STAR QUEST movie, a group of ten people awaken on a huge starship and try to figure out why they are there. They are seemingly the only inhabitants but know that someone is watching them through the various ship cameras, which are obviously displayed. In fact, several of these people are killed violently by a bolt of electricity that comes out of the devices. In the meantime, though, these people have a lot of sex. In fact, one of the couples consists of a criminal and a lap dancer, so there's a lot of bare-breasted dancing going. One by one the people are killed and it is revealed that they've been kidnapped by aliens. Two of the humans, in fact, turn out to be the aliens in human disguise (one is Robert Englund). One of them wants the humans dead, the other wants them alive because it's the only way to save his race through cross-breeding their two species. The sets are sparse but work, though some of those sliding doors look a little too much like the plywood they are. And, of course, there is lots of stock footage of spaceships from other Roger Corman produced movies, most notably BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS. I think there are thirty Concorde movies that have used spaceship footage from that flick! Also, the storyline and feel of the movie is a great deal like Corman's recent remake of TEENAGE CAVEMAN, so the plot is recycled as well. Still, it's a quick moving hour and a half with some decent horror/sci-fi actors (Robert Englund and Adam Baldwin).
