A vulcanologist (Brad Johnson of COPPERHEAD, ALWAYS) goes to Hawaii with a grad student to see if a volcano is going to erupt soon. But there's also this problem with a cloned prehistoric alligator that has escaped its reserve. Kelly McGillis (TOP GUN, WITNESS) is the scientist tracking it down. The computer effects of the monster are laughable but this is contrasted with the closeups of people getting bloodily chewed by the creature, which is intense, particularly for broadcast on Sci-Fi Channel. » Search Database for Supergator (2008) Seen it?
