Ted Danson, who will forever be identified with Sam from CHEERS, portrays real-life psychic James Van Pragh in this biographical movie. It reminded me a bit of the recent GHOST WHISPERER show, in that the ghosts come to him in order for him to help them communicate with the living. The character deals with coming to grips with having this supernatural power-and using it-and he also helps the police discover the buried corpses of children who have been killed during the past thirty years.
