He's back... but this time to help and not to kill. Arnold reprises his role as the robot ass-kicker; however, this machine it's out to help protect Sarah Conner and her son from a new brand of Terminator. T2 has the same great feel and FX as one and even more action and fun if you ask me. Sarah Conner now has that kid to tote around and she's come a long way from the 1st film. Here, she's whipping ass like a hardened soldier and protecting her son at any cost. The new T2 machine looks awesome and offers a great challenge to the older Arnold powered model. He does his job well though and by the end you really get into watching the old vs. the new. You gotta love this movie if you cared any at all for part one. At the beginning, it's hard to picture the Terminator out to actually save anyone after the relentless pursuits from the original movie. T2 manages to avoid sequelitisis and become a great flick in its own right.
