This is one my favorite movies from David Cronenberg. Very well done and a cool premise for a film. Pretty much hits the nail on the head when it comes to society and the spread of sexual disease. An experiment gone wrong creates zombie like sex fiends that are hotter than a rabbit on Spanish fly. The parasites using the body and causing all the fuss spread rapidly throughout the Starliner Towers upscale apartment complex and noone is safe. Tons of nasty shit for all tastes in this movie. Perverse, bloody, and well paced are the things that come to my mind when I look back on it. Anchor Bay has released a deluxe Shivers version and I would urge anyone to get it. Barbara Steel is in this also and looks very sexy, as do most of the women. Once the shit totally hits the fan you'll be amazed! A must see for all fans and fiends. You will not be disappointed.
