This is a fun movie, in the spirit of the 60's Jerry Anderson puppet series on which it is based. It's also remarkably like the animated THE INCREDIBLES, dealing with a superhero family and with the children coming to the rescue at the end on a tropical island.Bill Paxton is Jeff Tracy. The other members of his rescue team are his sons. The youngest son, still in school, wants to become a member but his father tells him 'no shortcuts', that he has to go to school and get good grades before he can join in the action. But when a super villain (Ben Kingsley) strands the Tracy's out in space it's up to this kid to not only save them but defeat the bad guy and take back the island. He's joined by a school pal and the daughter of the island's workers.I was honestly surprised how entertaining this movie was. It moves fast, the effects are decent and the characters likeable.
