This is a decent enough Full Moon Production, about five youths who are trapped at an isolated cabin by an invisible barrier. They were all drawn to the place, though they don't know why. When the newest arrival, Alma, is able to walk beyond this force-field, , the others follow her-and come upon an old mist enshrouded graveyard. Here they find the Totem, this stone sculpture of these gargoyle creatures. When the first among them is killed the first creature appears and it looks like something out of a PUPPET MASTER movies, though a bit more ferocious.. It was one of the carvings on the totem. For some reason the totem needs half the people to kill the other half so that the other two totems will be released from their prison. They are conveyed information about the carving-that it was made by Vikings to imprison the devils. It also somehow ties into the Bible and American Indian lore, though that seemed a bit stretching it.Still, worth checking out, particularly if you enjoy Full Moon's diminutive monsters.
