Don?t know what to say here. I was blown away by this movie and still can't believe an actual big-budget live- action film was made in the 1st place. The FX amazed me, from the opening attack by Blackout in Qatar, to the fights and chase scenes between Bumblebee & Barricade, to the scenes of all the Autobots and Decepticons, the shit was unbelievable. And of course, There's Optimus Prime and Megatron with kick-ass voices and a final fight. Good call by the filmmakers to get Peter Cullen, the original voice of Optimus Prime to come aboard. That was perfect if you ask me; linking the original animated series with this movie in the best way. All the characters were cool and well done, even the humans. Megan Fox is just that damn hot! Glad they didn't make Bumblebee a VW and used a cool 70's Camaro then a new one instead. Supposedly, this whole thing will turn into a trilogy (hope so!!!) and I for one cannot wait 'til 2009. The next film may have the Dinobots and Constructicons!! Will Starscream lead the Decepticons or will Megatron rise from the dead as Galvatron'? Whatever happens my ass will be there! Transformers is slated for an IMAX release on Sept. 21st, so that should be awesome as it may be an extended cut with never before seen footage. Maybe now we'll see what happened to Barricade. Gotta give credit when it's due and Michael Bay has made THE SHIT here friends. Hope the Halloween remake (ughh!) coming up is as good and I'll be happy. Transformers was more than meets the eye and way more than I expected. Now when's that G.I. Joe film gonna get made?
