Well, Kate Beckinsale makes an attractive vampire and the vampire vs. werewolf plot is different, though not entirely original (it was done in the low-budget movie RAGE OF THE WEREWOLF five years ago, in 1998). But the stereotypical vampire characters, one of them a seeming Christopher Lee spoof and the one dimensionality of the Beckinsale character really brings everything down. I couldn't help but feel as if I'd seen this movie before.
