A couple meets a sexy woman that has more than a little interest in them both. During the film's opening scene, we see there's much more to Dianne than at first meets the eye as she kills a would-be rapist with ease... and joy. The couple is invited and goes out to her secluded desert home. The sexy mistress of the house soon seduces both separately and we learn the truth about her and her seldom seen male companion... they are both vampires. A few deaths later, the couple is trying to escape, but is it too late for them now and which one is under her control? This surreal early 70's American vampire tale has a lot of interesting points and twists on the tired vampire legend. The erotic female vamp drives a dune buggy and seems to be able to endure sunlight for short periods of time. There's plenty of nudity and fun, the cast all resemble 70's porn stars honestly. If you like bloodsucker action, Velvet Vampire can do you no harm. I enjoyed this much more than I wanted to. Good luck finding, as Velvet Vampire is a rare now as Velvet Jones.
