A young woman named Beth (Radha Mitchell of PITCH BLACK, SILENT HILL) opens her remote roadside diner to find a straggled drifter (Barry Watson of THE BOOGEYMAN) on the doorstep. At first she feels sorry for him and gives him a free meal---then a trio of surfers arrive and things quickly change for the worse. He hides in the kitchen and insists that these guys are out to kill him. In fact, after they leave he collapses from a knife wound in his side, a knife wound they gave him.
For the majority of the movie we're not sure if the drifter or the "surfers" are the bad guys, which sets up some good tension and suspense. It also has a decent ending, which I didn't quite expect. This movie is definitely worth checking out.
