A pregnant teenager by the name of Kelly Ann gives up her baby for adoption at the urging of her local priest (Peter Capaldi of LAIR OF THE WHITE WORM). Soon afterwards she goes on a camping trip with a few friends, with that same priest as a chaperon. However, they encounter a werewolf in the countryside. When they take refuge in a crumbled castle the find a human infant amidst its den and Kelly Ann takes the baby, bonding with it as if it's her own. But this is really the werewolf's offspring and the creature wants the baby back, so it goes after them...
I found this to be a strange movie. For the most part the werewolves (there is more than one!) look pretty cool, though they do start looking like giant muppets when the camera is on them too long. WILD COUNTRY is a very different sort of werewolf movie, worth seeing simply because it is so untypical.
