This collects the movies THE TINGLER, HOMICIDAL, MR. SARDONICUS, STRAIGHT-JACKET, 13 FRIGHTENED GIRLS, THE OLD DARK HOUSE and ZOTZ! (each reviewed separately on buried.com). This is definitely the definitive William Castle Collection, complete with the various trailers for each movie, alternate trailers, behind-the-scenes and recollections by people who knew him. On THE TINGLER DVD film historian Bob Burns recounts his meeting Castle in person, at the premiere of the movie.On other discs are two episodes of the TV series GHOST STORY in which the producer/director had cameos. This is the pilot and then the episode with John Astin, GRAVEYARD SHIFT. There's featurettes about each movie and also the documentary, SPINE TINGLER! THE WILLIAM CASTLE STORY, which has its own disc.
This is, hands down, the most entertaining dvd movie collection that has come out this past year and a must-have for your dvd library.
