Robson Green reprises his character of clinical psychologist Dr. Tony Hill, who helps the police track down serial killers in England. He works with senior detective Carol Jordan (Hermione Norris) of the Bradfield Police. In the first story, STILL SHE CRIES, one of Dr. Hill's students, who has a misplaced crush on him, becomes involved in tracking down a serial killer. Things get complicated when she goes to the police and tells them that Dr. Hill raped her. Least to say, this makes a mess of the investigation. Another story deals with victims found buried beneath ancient remains-and the supernatural may be involved. There's also a story about a gang boss who may be committing murders while he's in prison and a killer who preys on patients in a hospital. What I like about these English series is that there's much more character development than in their US counterparts and far less 'shoot 'em up' gun play and no 'clever' verbal asides. It makes for a more realistic and captivating program.
