This installment of the genie franchise is far far better than parts 2 or 3, again because of the entertaining script. As in the other movies a young woman is the one responsible for bringing about the Djinn's return-and he tries to get her to make three wishes. Once the third wish happens he'll be able to bring forth his kindred demons into this universe and take over our world. The woman is dealing with the aftermath of her boyfriend's motorcycle accident, trying to sue the company who made the brakes that failed. Her lawyer is a friend-who wants to become more than a friend to her, if you know what I mean. This is all a little tense-and becomes tenser when the Djinn kills the lawyer and takes his form. Then, people start creatively dying as he grants them their wishes. Recommended.
