Well, get the West Virginia tourism board on the horn... we have another flick to get everyone excited about visiting. Starts with a guy heading down to Raleigh for a job interview. He takes a wrong turn on the way and ends up off the beaten path on some of West Virginia's finest highways...the ones of the dirt persuasion. While not paying attention when driving (which I know you all can relate to) our hero rear ends a group of college kids who had a flat. They set off down the road to find some help, but they find a welcoming committee that would make the Hatfields and McCoys look like a good time. The kids get hunted down and brutalized in some gory manners. The storyline has a good pace, the effects are great and the characters (at least the killers) are interesting. I would have been more interested had there been some frontal nudity, but I don't expect to see that in horror flicks these days. Wouldn't want to offend anyone by showing some breasts here and there. While the politically correct crowd shield their eyes and our own from the mammorical horrors that be, they still find it suitable to stereotype those poor West Virginians. When will they get a fair shake. After seeing this and other films of similar stead, I will leave it up to someone else to travel those backroads to redemption for this unfortunate state, I plan to drive around. Grab this one and watch with some friends.
