This Korean answer to Godzilla is a remake of the 60's movie, about a giant lizard-like fire breathing monster. Clearly made around the time of the American version of Godzilla it features computer animated monsters instead of men in suits. The result is very stiff-looking, not to mention cheap, computer generated creatures that simply don't cut it. Although many of the other effects, such as the destruction of buildings and people, are quite well-done, and the production values are much improved from the 1960's, these effects can't overcome the cartoonish title characters...or save the movie.
