I'm starting to get REALLY tired of these movie shot to look like they were spontaneously captured through someone's camcorder. Granted, I like BLAIR WITCH, CLOVERFIELD and QUARANTINE but now is the time for producers to stop this trend.
ZOMBIE DIARIES is a lot like Romero's DIARY OF THE DEAD, only without the production value. There are three stories, the first taking place as a strange virus, similar to bird flu, is sweeping the world and a group of documentary filmmakers are stuck out at a farmhouse in the country. Within the house they have their first encounter with a zombie. Then we skip a month into the future and watch another group of people searching for food and trying to survive. The last story shows that the living people are really the ones to watch out for and this story ties in to the characters of the first story. The zombies are the "gooey" kind, like from an Italian zombie movie. This isn't a terrible movie, just about ten years too late. My boredom almost turned me into a zombie....
