A Hispanic filmmaker sees a local commercial advertising the services of a medicine man/witch doctor. She thinks he'd be a good subject to make a documentary about so goes to his office. But he thinks that she'll only make fun of him and his clients, so declines. Meanwhile, he's visited by an abused woman who wants him to do something about her violent husband. He tells her he can't help her so she approaches a local witch, who gives her something to give him. Unfortunately it kills him. She goes back to the first guy, distraught, only her now zombie husband has followed her and tries to kill them both. He shoots the zombie in the head but it doesn't stop the creature. He and the filmmaker woman, who is now friends with, get to the bottom of this by invading the witch's house and discover she has a whole plantation of the undead.
ZOMBIE FARM is an interesting zombie movie in that it melds the folklore of the voodoo zombie with the more recent flesh-eating type we see in most movies. However, the undead are a very small part of this movie and are far too easily dispatched in the end. The movie is far more of a racial drama than it is a horror movie.
