Ten years have passed since the events of Season Two. Jackson Oz is using a pseudonym because everyone blames him and his dead father for the sterility problem that now faces mankind. No one has been pregnant in a decade. That is until Mitch Morgan's twenty-year old daughter Clementine shows up, revealing she's mysteriously pregnant. And Mitch Morgan, long thought to be dead after being attacked by Hybrids on the island of Pangea, is found alive, in suspended animation. Former reporter Jamie Campbell is now wealthy from her book sales and hunts down Shepherds in her spare time. Abraham and Dariela are married, living in Ann Arbor Michigan and have a ten-year old son. Problems arise when the government starts rounding up this generation of children to do experiments on. Then, we're introduced to the season's villain-Abigail, who is actually Jackson's half sister. She's been in charge of the Shepherds and has created all those Hybrids with the mysterious "Mr Duncan". In addition to the wolf hybrids there are flying ones, a woolly-mammoth/rhino hybrid and giant snakes that can turn invisible. For the most part the hybrids are kept behind a massive wall that borders the Western States but she's created them to quickly reproduce-and has hidden incubation areas around the world. She wants to kill everyone! And there's lots more. Although this is one of the more convoluted science-fiction series in recent years I still find it weird and entertaining.
